Where is Avellana Orchards located?

Avellana Orchards is nestled in South Nanaimo, within the charming community of Cedar, just a short drive from downtown Nanaimo and the ferry terminal.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

The venue can host up to 150 guests. Our covered pavilion comfortably seats just over 100 guests; for larger celebrations, additional shelter, tables, and chairs can be rented to ensure everyone is accommodated.

Is the venue open year round?

Our season runs from May 1 through October 1, making the most of Vancouver Island’s beautiful spring, summer, and early fall weather.

Are there noise restrictions or curfews?

Yes, as part of the Agricultural Land Reserve, events must conclude by midnight.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking for you and your guests, with easy access for vendors as well.
